Trust and automated transactions
Identity, authority, consent, ownership and settlement require separate evidence. Autonomous licensing markets remain scenarios unless documented. Verified identity does not establish power to license music. Provenance is not clearance. Access controls, verified payment-change instructions, approval limits, disputes and audit trails are the practical work — whether or not an “agent” overlay is enabled.
Affected roles
- Identity Providers
- Trust Platforms
- Payment Providers
- Keyra Verified Trust
- Settlement Agent
- Business Manager
Implications
- Do not label a graph overlay as live infrastructure.
- Exception queues must stay visible when automation is proposed.
- Impersonation risk makes verification of payment changes a control, not a nicety.
Practical actions
- Write the claim each trust signal actually makes.
- Set an approval limit above which a human must sign.
- Tabletop one dispute: wrong payee, revoked consent, unmatched work.
